Déjà vu - Totalitarian Collectivism - Inverted Totalitarianism and the Corporate State

Stricken with a terminal disease, the decline of traditional society is unavoidable. For decades, the political institutions that fostered a Republic based upon individual liberty and responsibility fade into fond memory. Defenders of all that made America a shining example of human freedom are attacked and ridiculed for holding onto a moral and ethical system that is based upon the dignity of every individual. Most will blame the failure of this decay on the politicians that willfully pander to the masses with the next generation of social welfare programs. While defining a politician as a scoundrel, deserving damnation, seems obvious; the underlying source of the decay that eats away the culture comes from various directions.

Déjà vu - Totalitarian Collectivism - Fatalistic Reality and Election Futility

Thank God, another election cycle is over. Some celebrate that elections demonstrate that the country prides itself on a peaceful transition of power. Others rejoice that elections reflect the will of the people. And you hear the familiar pronouncement, that democracy brings legitimacy to the rule of government. If all this was true, why is the nation always in trouble? After every election, the system continues to grind citizens into the ground. The privileged few continue to accrue their vast sums of booty, as the debt soars to heights that only a super computer can calculate.

Déjà vu - Strappado Wrack - Woman of the Year, or is it?

The game of presidential politics is often described as musical chairs.  Actually it is more like “Pop Goes the Weasel”.  Since national elections have proved to be irrelevant, tweedledum and tweedledee charades, what’s the point in getting worked up over the next cycle?  Well adjusted minds know that the next presidency will just be another administration that wastes the country.  Another ‘Croissant Kerry’ run would drive the electorate to riot.  A McCain march will never get fundamental troops to get in line.  What will the parties on both sides of the same coin do?  When in doubt call in the consultants and pollsters . . .

Déjà vu - Negotium - Labor Day when there is no work

Celebrating Labor Day is poised for a fundamental transition. As the work force shrinks, the 21th Century version of the nature of employment is undergoing deep and primal changes. Some stats that are relevant point out that 62.8%: Labor Force Participation Has Hovered Near 37-Year-Low for 11 Months.
